Stretching/Abdominal machines/UE weights

So it's Sunday and I worked. I was so sleepy today maybe due to my long run yesterday. I'm pretty much at peace now, enjoying the quiet and solitude that is probably due me because of age. But I am getting better in my exercise routines, I am so happy I can use abdominal and back machines now without much after-exercise pains. My work-out today was an hour or so.

15 miles(13 @ 2:18:00 / 2miles @cool-down jog/walk pace)

It was a beautiful run with perfect weather and tempo. I was slower than last week but what is 3 minute difference eh? Now I need to relax before going out in the afternoon.

2miles?

I intended a 5 mile slow jog this morning but I just didn't feel up to it. I only managed 1.5-2 miles. My foot was hurting from the intervals yesterday. So I just went to work today. It's a long run tomorrow anyway.

interval training am and pm (7 miles)

I was able to complete seven miles today but this was split due to morning lateness. In am I was able to complete 4 miles and two of those miles on half mile intervals. In pm, I did a treadmill 3 miles, 2 of those on half mile intervals.

Abdominal Class/UE weights @ Bally's

I was supposed to do some speed running today but my sleep the night before was so bad and after working in outpatient and sometimes kneeling with a brain-injured (on mat) I felt a little discomfort in my left knee. I had to forgo the run until I feel more comfortable. So after work I went straight to Bally's. Fortunately there is a class for abdominal muscles and, why not? Man, I could hardly keep up with the rest of the class. This class proved to me how weak my abdominals are and I was a little afraid I would damage my back - for indeed, there are exercise moves in the program that I would never recommend to a patient. I managed to stop periodically to give myself a breather but I did not bring my towel so I was sweating profusely on the mat, which, as a rule, should not be the case because of risk of contaminations ( especially in gyms!) I won't know who in this godforsaken world was using the mat before me and I was lying on it sweating. There was some kind of kick boxing class afterwards but I did not proceed because I'd rather focus on abdominals and UE weight lifting tonight. It was a satisfactory work-out and by the end of the day, my left knee was no longer hurting. I should be able to run tomorrow morning then and maybe do some yoga and spinning later in the day. I am truly enjoying these classes.

The pilates requires a fee...sadly, so - I will just proceed to a Physical Therapy course on pilates. In fact, there must be a course somewhere here that gives certification on pilates. But fist, I need to figure if I can take more of these exercises. I have to remind myself constantly -- be careful, it's the age my dear, it's the age.
